The foundation of every child's future is a strong mind and a strong body. Cornerstones for Kids provides the tools for Florida's youth to develop both their minds and bodies in a positive way. The Florida Marlins Community Foundation was established in January 1999 to promote educational, athletic, health, social and community service programs with a particular focus on South Florida's youth. Since its inception, the FMCF has given back over $7 million dollars to the community! The money raised is used to support "Cornerstones for Kids" - building a brighter future through education, the arts and baseball.
