
During Sunday home games, the 50/50 Raffle raises funds for charity and provides fans the opportunity to win cash. 50% of all proceeds raised on each Sunday home game will be awarded to one lucky fan. During the 2009 season, FMCF will partner with local non-profit organizations to raise funds. Raffle tickets are available for a suggested donation of $3 per ticket, 2 for $5, 5 for $10, and 15 for $20. Tickets are available at the Community Corner and from volunteers throughout the stadium from the time the gates open until the end of the 3rd inning. The winning ticket will be randomly drawn immediately following the closing of the raffle. The Annual Fund is a year-long campaign by the Florida Marlins Community Foundation to raise unrestricted dollars for the Cornerstones for Kids programs. Those wishing to donate to the Annual Fund may click here to make a donation online. This is a way for FMCF to collect more funds for the grant program and a way for you to make a tax-deductible contribution. All those who make at least a $100 donation will be recognized on Marlins Vision during pre-game activities at all Marlins home games during the 2009 season.

Florida Marlins pitcher Andrew Miller and outfielder Brett Carroll have partnered with the Florida Marlins Community Foundation for "Autographs for Kids."
Through this program, Andrew and Brett will autograph fans' baseball cards and photographs through the mail in exchange for a donation to the Florida Marlins Community Foundation. All of the funds collected through this program by Andrew are used for the Foundation's grant program. The three elements of the Cornerstones for Kids grant program support education, the arts and baseball/softball initiatives.
Fans who wish to participate in the Autographs for Kids program should send their baseball cards or photographs (not larger than 8x10) along with a check (made payable to the Florida Marlins Community Foundation). Your tax-deductible donation to the Florida Marlins Community Foundation will go towards purchasing tickets so less fortunate youth in South Florida will have the opportunity to attend a Major League Baseball game.
All the youth invited will attend a game either on September 11 or 13 vs. the Washington Nationals. Children who participate in local South Florida youth organizations will experience the thrill of a Major League Baseball game, many for the first time in their lives. The top donor from the 2009 Fans Care Weekend will have the opportunity to throw out a First Pitch on September 13.

Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI), presented by KPMG is a youth program offering children ages 13-18, who live in disadvantaged areas, the opportunity to participate in organized baseball/softball. This program is designed to promote interest in baseball, academic achievement and social responsibility. The Florida Marlins organize the RBI league and supply the uniforms, umpires and equipment for nearly 600 children.
This year's World Series tournaments will be hosted at Roger Dean Stadium, the Florida Marlins Spring Training site in Jupiter, Florida, August 5-14. The RBI World Series is the championship round of the RBI program.

All three Southeast Division champions were invited to Compton, CA for the 2008 RBI World Series which took place on August 6-11. Three Miami All-Star teams have won the RBI World Series: 2004 Boys Seniors, 1999 Girls Softball and 1997 Boys Juniors.

The Florida Marlins Community Foundation was busy in March raising money for the Florida State League Scholarship program. FMCF raised funds at Roger Dean Stadium during all Marlins home Spring Training games through auctions, raffles and more. Also, three separate fundraising events including the Spring Training Youth Baseball Clinic on March 7, Basebowl Tournament at Jupiter Lanes on March 21 and Party With the Foundation on March 29 helped FMCF fund the scholarships. The events included the help of Marlins players, Foundation sponsors and a variety of FMCF supporters.

During Saturday home games, the Community Foundation offers raffle tickets for a suggested donation of $1 per ticket or six tickets for $5. Tickets are available at the following locations: Gate G lobby, Gate F & H plazas, 138, 149, 156 and 244. Tickets are offered from the time the gates open until the end of the 1st inning. Winning tickets will be randomly drawn immediately following the closing of the raffle, posted on Marlins Vision during the game and available online at www.cornestonesforkids.com. Winners have one week to claim their prize.

Marlins Manager Fredi Gonzalez has made a pledge to the Florida Marlins Community Foundation for every Marlins home and away win in support of the "Wins for Kids" pledge program! The money raised will benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs, the official charity of the Florida Marlins and Major League Baseball. Now you can join Fredi in this great program.
