Marlins Chopper
During the 2006 season, Mike Jacobs lent his support to the Big Bike Riders Association in their effort to raise funds for the Diabetes Research Institute (DRI) and the Florida Marlins Community Foundation.
The Big Bike Riders Association raffled a custom designed Marlins bike autographed by Jacobs. Tickets were sold during Marlins games and the winner was awarded with the bike prior to the final game of the season on October 1.
Jacobs also serves as a spokesperson for the Marlins @ School program.
