BREAKING INTO SPORTS WORKSHOP & CAREER FAIR

Is your dream to work in the Sports Industry? Well, you are not alone and it is never too early to start gaining the skills and information you need to get a headstart.

All High School and College level students are invited to join the Florida Marlins "Breaking Into Sports Workshop". This one-of-a-kind event will take place on Saturday, April 19th from 11 a.m.-6:30 p.m. and will be followed by watching the Marlins face the Washington Nationals at 7:10 p.m.

During this special event, you will have the opportunity to hear from industry professionals such as:

 • David Samson, President, Florida Marlins
 • Michael Hill, VP and General Manager, Florida Marlins
 • Jeff Yocom, Vice President, Executive Search and Placement, Game Face, Inc.

In addition to the guest speakers above, you will also have the opportunity to join breakout sessions that will feature top executives for the Marlins and learn the path they took to get their dream jobs.

The day doesn't stop there as you will also have a chance to speak with representatives from sports teams, Colleges and Universities from around the state of Florida about everything from Sport Management Programs to openings within their team's front offices. If you see sports as a career in your future, this is a event you won't want to miss!
