Arts Programs

The Marlins recognize that an important part of developing a strong mind is stimulating creativity and imagination. Therefore, the Marlins pursue partnerships with arts programs and museums that strive to enhance the lives and learning of children and adults alike.

The Marlins Masterpieces Art Series was developed with the goal of expanding the Marlins arts program in South Florida throughout the calendar year. There are three components of the Marlins Masterpieces Art Series: the Spring Series, the Summer Series, and the Holiday Series. Students may create a collage, a painting, drawing, or even a computer generated image.

 HOLIDAY SERIES
Holiday Series

The Flordia Marlins recognize that an important part of developing a strong mind is stimulating creativity and imagination.

This holiday season, the Marlins are challenging South Florida's elementary, middle and high school students to create the cover of the Marlins Foundation's holiday card.

 SPRING SERIES
Spring Series

The Spring Series challenges elementary school kids to create "Marlinized" pieces of work within the theme of Speed, Power and Teamwork.

 SUMMER SERIES
SUMMER Series

The Summer Series encourages summer campers to put their creativity to the test by artistically altering a 3-dimensional object into a Marlins Masterpiece. Last year, campers decorated the Marlins Vuvuzelas using vibrant colors to help spice up the matted black instructions they were given to work with. Christina Contrera was last summer's winner.
