Hanley supports the Marlins RBI program every year by making a generous donation to help fund the league. On "RBI Night" all the league participants are invited to take part in an on field pregame ceremony where they are recognized and Hanley comes out to congratulate them on a terrific season and award the trophy to the tournament champions.
Ramirez sponsors the recently formed 12 & under division of the Marlins Jr. RBI program, which serves as a way for kids in underserved areas of South Florida to have the opportunity to play baseball at a younger age.
Ramirez also serves as a spokesperson for the Marlins@School program.
