"Inside the Marlins: Gaby Sanchez" premieres on Saturday, August 27 at 10:30 p.m. immediately following the Marlins at Phillies game. FOX Sports Florida's sixth 2011 episode of "Inside the Marlins" profiles Marlins first baseman and Miami native Gaby Sanchez. The episode takes viewers into the life of Gaby Sanchez, beginning with his tenure at Brito Private High School where he helped his team win two state titles, before becoming the starting third baseman at the University of Miami for two seasons, until Sanchez was drafted by the Marlins in the fourth round of the 2005 draft. "Inside the Marlins" features interviews with Gaby Sanchez, his father Remberto, his mother Ileana, his brother Remberto, Jr., his wife Judy, his high school coach Ralph Suarez, his college coach Jim Morris and his college teammate and current St. Louis Cardinal John Jay. This month's edition will be an all-new episode debuting on August 5th, entitled "Welcome To Pro Ball: Jamestown, NY". The 5th installment of the show will give viewers insight into what life is like for minor leaguers, as Inside the Marlins pays a visit to the Marlins short season, Class-A minor league affiliate in Jamestown, New York. Viewers will see how these players live and work during the 76-game season as they make the transition to professional baseball. Jamestown General Manager Matt Drayer, and Marlins Vice-President of Scouting and Player Development Jim Fleming, will discuss the challenges facing the players as they begin their climb up through the minor league system. One segment of the show is devoted to Jammers Manager Dave Berg, who played four of his seven Major League seasons as a Marlin, and now is in charge of helping his players adjust to professional baseball. In February of 2011, the Marlins boosted the morale of troops serving overseas in Southwest Asia and Germany. Inside The Marlins "Visiting The Troops" chronicles the 9-day journey involving Marlins players John Buck and Logan Morrison, special assistants Jeff Conine and Andre Dawson, plus Marlins Team President David Samson, Senior Vice President of Marketing Sean Flynn, Marketing Supervisor Boris Menier, FS Florida Game Producer John Sulser, and 3 Marlins Mermaids. The debut of Inside the Marlins will show Jeff Conine's love for airplanes, as he and "Lomo" got up-close and personal with a real live B-1 Bomber and personally signed live arsenal carried by the aircraft! Andre Dawson and David Samson toured the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany and extended their appreciation for our service men and women by conducting a "meet and greet" with some of our nation's wounded warriors! This all-new roundtable show will present all the off-season moves, actions, and improvements made by your Marlins for the up-coming 2011 season. The roster additions of veteran players such as, third baseman Omar Infante, starting pitcher Javier Vazquez, and catcher John Buck, will be discussed by Marlins announcers Rich Waltz, Tommy Hutton, and Jeff Conine. GM Michael Hill will also offer some insight in to your favorite ball club. The show will also feature updates of the new Marlins ballpark, as well as Marlins holiday community events. So as spring training rounds third base for home plate, stay tuned for the Marlins Hot Stove Report premiering February 19th at 1:00 p.m. on FS Florida.
The 7th and final edition of FOX Sports Florida's "Inside the Marlins" for the 2010 season is entitled, "The New Ballpark" and premieres this Friday, Sept. 17, at 10:30 p.m. after the game.
The half-hour show will look at the process and necessity of securing a new ballpark for the Marlins. We'll look at the progress made since the project was approved, some of the events that have taken place on the site, and the design and construction challenges presented by the state-of-the-art building.
Among those interviewed are Marlins President David Samson, V.P. of Ballpark Develo p.m.ent Claude Delorme, Chief Designer Earl Santee of the Populous Design firm, and Pat Delano of the construction company, Hunt-Moss, along with comments from Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria and local political figures involved in the process.
Included in the show are time lapse video sequences of construction from the empty lot through the up-to-date construction.
FOX Sports Florida's all-new "Inside the Marlins: Roving Coordinators" premieres Thursday, August 26 at 10:30 p.m. This is the 2010 season finale episode in the popular series and one episode fans won't want to miss. Host Frank Forte takes a look at six men in the Marlins organization who serve as Minor League coordinators, each with a specialized area of expertise. Fans will hear about the roles of Hitting Coordinator John Mallee, Infield Coordinator Brandon Hyde and Outfield/Baserunning Coordinator Tarrik Brock, three instructors who now are part of the Major League coaching staff. Also featured are Field Coordinator John Pierson, Pitching Coordinator Wayne Rosenthal and Catching Coordinator Tim Cossins. These six men spend the baseball season traveling among the Marlins six minor league affiliates, teaching and instructing the Marlins prospects in their respective areas of responsibility.
Episode #6 of Inside the Marlins follows the journey of Andre "The Hawk" Dawson from his days growing up in Miami, to his induction into Baseball's Hall of Fame on July 25, 2010. A graduate of Miami Southwest High School, who later attended Florida A&M University, Dawson went on to play 21 seasons in the big leagues, with the Montreal Expos, Chicago Cubs, Boston Red Sox and Marlins. He retired after the 1996 season and now works as a Special Assistant to the President of the Marlins organization.
Inside the Marlins went with Dawson as he was inducted into the Hall of Fame, becoming the 203rd former Major League player to enter the Hall. Featured are interviews with Dawson, his wife Vanessa, son Darius and daughter Amber, as well as numerous interviews for former teammates, friends, mentors and fellow Hall of Fame members.

Inside the Marlins - Puerto Rico gives viewers exclusive access on the Marlins trip to Puerto Rico. This episode includes Jorge Cantu on the plane filming with his HD flip cam to Wes Helms participating in a baseball clinic, where Helms learned that "although there was a language barrier, baseball served as it's universal language." Third base Coach, Joe Espada and Manager, Edwin Rodriguez will discuss returning to their homeland, "this is a very important memory for me, my family and the country, I'm very pleased to be the first Puerto Rican Manager in the big leagues," said Rodriguez. You'll get to know Edwin Rodriguez on a personal level and at the same time get to know about the history of San Juan, Puerto Rico through an exclusive interview with Rodriguez as he walks the Inside the Marlins crew through the streets of Old San Juan and visits the Fort San Felipe Del Morro. You will also get to find out about the importance of the Marlins taking Major League Baseball to Puerto Rico and how the Marlins are always incorporating the Hispanic community into the makeup of their organization. Inside the Marlins episode #3 for the 2010 season is entitled "Gameday: The Coaching Staff." In this show, we profile the 6 coaches on Manager Fredi Gonzalez staff, take a look at their baseball backgrounds and see what they do on a "typical" game day, from the time they arrive at the ballpark through the game itself. We'll see the duties and responsibilities of Bench Coach Carlos Tosca, Pitching Coach Randy St. Claire, Hitting Coach Jim Presley, First Base/Outfield Coach Dave Collins, Third Base/Infield Coach Joe Espada and Bullpen Coach Reid Cornelius as they prepare the Marlins to face the myriad situations and scenarios that can occur during the course of a Major League game. Episode #2 of Inside the Marlins for the 2010 season is entitled "Chris Coghlan". The show chronicles Chris' baseball journey as a young man growing up in Maryland, and later moving to Palm Harbor, Florida, where he played baseball at East Lake High School. Chris went on to play college baseball at the University of Mississippi, before the Marlins selected him with the 36th overall pick in the 2006 draft.
Inside the Marlins will follow Coghlan's career through the minor leagues and his call-up to the Marlins in 2009, which later resulted in Chris winning the National League rookie of the year award.
At age 15, Chris lost his father in a car accident, an event which affected his life in many ways. He reached out to some friends and baseball instructors at "The Winning Inning Academy" in Clearwater, Florida, men who became mentors and continue to help and guide Chris to this day. Inside the Marlins will feature interviews with Chris' mother, Heather Roefaro, family members, and former and present teammates from college and the minor leagues. Inside the Marlins "Spring Training 2010: The Bullpen" will debut on April 13th immediately following our postgame show for the Marlins-Reds game. The show will focus on the competition among pitchers to earn a spot in the Marlins bullpen for the 2010 season, and which pitchers will fit into the various relief pitcher roles. The bullpen is almost a team within a team, as these pitchers have their own unique culture within the team framework, as they spend the majority of the game separated from the rest of the ballclub. We will also explore some of the unusual back stories of some of the relief pitchers.

The television home of the Marlins, Fox Sports Florida, took you inside the preparation of the upcoming Marlins 2010 season. Craig Minervini once again served as host of the half-hour show that featured all the scoops of the exciting forthcoming season. In addition, there were spotlights on the up-and-coming Marlins Cameron Maybin, Gaby Sanchez and Chris Coghlan. With a great young pitching rotation in Ricky Nolasco, Josh Johnson, Chris Volstad, and Andrew Miller the Marlins are considered once again strong contenders in the N.L East.

This half-hour show spotlighted the Marlins Community Foundation's Annual Celebrity Golf Classic in early February with players, front office executives and other personalities teeing it up at Parkland Golf and Country Club. The show premiered March 2nd at 6:00 p.m. on FOX Sports Florida.

Hosted by FOX Sports Florida's Rich Waltz, along with Tommy Hutton, Jeff Conine and Marlins VP/GM Michael Hill. The show featured a round table program discussing off-season action, expectations for coming season, competition for starting rotation/bullpen and more. Also, the Marlins Hot Stove Report sat down with NL Rookie of the Year Chris Coghlan and followed him through his offseason workout in Clearwater. FOX Sports Florida's Frank Forte and Marlins Executive VP of Ballpark Develo p.m.ent Claude Delorme gave us an inside-look and updates on the new Marlins ballpark. The half-hour show also spotlighted recent Hall of Fame inductee Andre Dawson.
