The 2009 Jiffy Lube Marlins Caravan will be rolling through South Florida from Monday until Feb. 6, offering the community the opportunity to meet players, coaches, team officials, Billy the Marlin and the Mermaids. Stops will be made in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.

The Caravan is the annual lead-in to the Feb. 7 Jiffy Lube Marlins FanFest at Dolphin Stadium, which will be from noon to 6 p.m. ET.

FanFest is the first opportunity to purchase individual game tickets for the regular season, including Interleague games on June 19-21 against the Yankees at Dolphin Stadium. The ticket windows at the ballpark will open at noon.

Tickets will also be available at marlins.com to all Marlins home games beginning on Feb. 7.

FanFest also provides fans a chance to purchase tickets to the second round of the World Baseball Classic at Dolphin Stadium from March 14-18.

FanFest will feature music, live radio broadcasts, autograph sessions with Marlins players, interactive games, town-hall meetings, photo opportunities with players, Billy the Marlin, the Mermaids and Manatees. Culminating the event will be a fireworks show at 6 p.m.

The Caravan schedule is as follows:

Monday: Heat vs. Clippers NBA game, American Airlines Arena in Miami, 7:30 p.m. ET.

Tuesday: Jiffy Lube, 8215 W. Flagler Street, Miami, 11 a.m. to noon.

Wednesday: Jiffy Lube, 8329 Pines Blvd., Pembroke Pines, Fla., noon to 1 p.m.

Free Cafecito at Versailles Restaurant, 3555 SW 8th Street, Miami, 2 to 3 p.m.

J.J. Mugs Restaurant next to Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Fla., 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Thursday: BankUnited Marlins Celebrity Golf Classic, 200 Bonaventure Blvd., Weston, Fla., 11 a.m. The tournament is a private event.

Florida Panthers against the New York Islanders NHL game, BankAtlantic Center, Sunrise, Fla., 7:30 p.m.

Friday, Feb. 6: Marlins Wiffle Ball Game, 1501 NW 3rd Street (site of the Marlins' new ballpark on the Orange Bowl grounds in Little Havana), 11 a.m. to noon.

Jiffy Lube, 4100 W. 12th Avenue, Hialeah, Fla., 2 to 3 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 7: Jiffy Lube FanFest, Dolphin Stadium, noon to 6 p.m.
