Marlins settle for tie in spring finale
Starter Sanchez looks sharp in three three scoreless innings

Marlins at the plate: The club sent 22 players to bat on Saturday, but only had four hits: Jeremy Hermida, Cody Ross, Michael Stanton and Osvaldo Martinez. Hermida scored Florida's only run on a wild pitch.
Blue Jays at the plate: Adam Lind (2-for-2), Kevin Millar (2-for-4), Jose Bautista, Justin Jackson, Aaron Hill and Lyle Overbay all singled, and Toronto tied the game up in the top of the eighth, thanks to Lind's ninth RBI of the spring.

Marlins on the mound: Anibal Sanchez pitched three shutout innings in his start, giving up two hits with a strikeout and a walk while throwing 38 pitches, 22 for strikes. Andrew Miller, Leo Nunez and Logan Kensing each followed up with a scoreless inning. Jared Yecker gave up a run on four hits in his two innings.
Blue Jays on the mound: Ricky Romero got the start for Toronto and gave up just one run on four hits while striking out two and walking two in his five innings. The 24-year-old left-hander threw 65 pitches -- 41 for strikes -- and gave up his only run in the second inning after back-to-back wild pitches. Shawn Camp, Brian Tallet and Jesse Carlson were next and pitched a scoreless inning of relief. Grapefruit League records: Marlins 12-19-2, Blue Jays 13-17-3. Up next: This was it as far as Spring Training goes for both clubs.The Blue Jays will now board a flight to Toronto, as they'll start the season at Rogers Centre against the Tigers on Monday at 7:15 p.m. ET. Getting the Opening Day nod will be staff ace Roy Halladay, who went 20-11 with a 2.78 ERA in 34 games in 2008, a year that saw him finish second in the American League Cy Young Award voting. The 31-year-old right-hander finished the spring with a 3.27 ERA in 33 innings.
The Marlins, meanwhile, will make the short drive south to Miami, as they'll get set to host the division-rival Nationals at 4:10 p.m. on Monday. Starting for Florida will be Ricky Nolasco, the 26-year-old right-hander who had a breakout 2008 that saw him go 15-8 with a 3.52 ERA. Nolasco posted a 2.00 ERA in 18 innings this spring.
